Hello Haveners!
The staff team have noticed an uptick in violations of our mature content guidelines. We want to take a moment to remind you that all mature content now requires use of our mature content filter. This process, including how, when and where to use our filer system, is explained in our Mature Content Wiki. Please take the time to read this as we are no longer allowing users a grace period. This means that instead of a courtesy message, users who fail to properly enable a mature filter on explicit content will receive be receiving warnings – and we hate sending you those!
One thing to keep in mind is that with this system we are less lenient with pieces that would have previously walked the line of explicit content. It is in your best interest to err on the side of caution if a piece is cheeky or risqué. What does that mean exactly?
- Watching out for if the figure you have drawn is scantily clad!
- Pieces that are intended to appear sexy but meet full coverage requirements might still warrant a filter! Consider the context around your figure: what are they wearing, what’s in the background, what expression are they making, how are they positioned, what accessories have they been given?
- Be careful about which areas of the body are included as the focal point!
- If you’d think this would be cute on your Tinder or for your private Snapchat, then that’s probably gonna need a filter!
We hope this is helpful, and remember whenever you are in doubt:
- Filter it. Any question = just filter it.
- Message a mature moderator! It’s always a pleasure to help you all out.
Thank you,
Art Haven Team
