🌕 The Moon Witch 🌑

My OC Short story: Once highly respected among the moon witches, she caught the eye of Lucifer and so he decided to deceive her for his own gains. While performing their rituals to honor the moon he would give her visions of the atrocities to come. Mankind has forgotten all the witches have done for them and now only see them as a danger. She saw how they would be burned at stakes and drowned in the rivers. The visions were to much to bear and she decided something had to be done. Atop Hartz mountain, which was known to mankind as the witches dance floor where all the rituals were held. She unknowingly to her sisters performed a rite to open the door to a new world where witches would live in peace. This was a forbidden kind of magic. The moon frowned upon her decision and cast her out stripping her of her powers. With all her sisters gone sadness and loneliness overcame her, slowly turning into anger. She thought to herself, "why am I the only one that was left alone? I did what had to be done!" The moment Lucifer was waiting for has finaly come. On a dark night where clouds covered the moon he appeared to her extending his hand and offering her to be the judge of the dead that had forced her to take such measures. And so Lucifer took her to the underworld where she would judge all of mankind by his side.
