This listing is for (4) hair shader maps that help drive your diffuse texture (the color part!).
When applying these 512 X 512px images to a UV mapped material of the same dimensions, you can cut your hand texturing time in half.
The Normal map shows faux strands when used correctly in a material setup so your mesh can stay low while making it look more detailed. The 2 grey-scale texture can be used as Specular maps. One of them is a smaller lock of hair instead of a wide "sheet" for you to customize wisps/flyaway/baby hair maps for hairs with nonstandard UVs. Those maps can then be used to create brand new maps! Adjust levels & both can be used as alphas in a pinch too. Last, but not least is an Opacity map derived from one of the grey-scale images. I have tested this inside of IMVU Studio and it looks nice on catalog hairs that use the standard UV dimensions.
Please note!!! >>> custom UVs (non-square, multi-object with seams/"packaged" UV islands) will warp these maps unless modified!!! <<<

- YES, place these maps on a mesh hair for sale for sale on IMVU, Second Life, (complete)VRChat avatars, etc
- YES, modify these maps all you want.
- NO, do not resell the maps "as is". Packaging the maps with a mesh that does not use the maps and/or is not a hairstyle mesh shows clear intent to circumvent the rule and I kindly ask that you do not abuse them in this way.
- NO, do not share the maps or give them away. Other individuals will need to purchase the maps for themselves.
