Today at 3 am, I said good bye to my best friend& family, Mr Droopy Staub , my young handsome 14 year gentle basset hound.

We rescued each other 8 years ago and he's just as handsome as I first met him.

Bubby moved with us to 3 different houses, & was the only ever friend I had that stayed with me. Transferring multiple schools i lost touch with everyone and firmly kept to myself, stopped reaching out to people that never bothered to talkto me and went into firm solitude. I can't keep a conversation from lack of skill and it's hard to connect to people. With my sunshine he was always there and is my bestest friend, who never lost hope and never gave up on me or cared to.

8 years ago at the shelter I walked down aisle after aisle of dogs and puppies, wet noses after licking tongues. Somehow I passed his shelter but a soft whine turned me around and I was met with his handsome face and beautiful ears. It was an immediate connection with his brown eyes and I begged for my mama to meet him & in the room where we first met, it was a love connection and we hugged on that floor. Weeks later, my mama brought him home to us as a surprise and he was a part of the family and always will be.

My big boy angel is running free as he always loved to do without any pain & hope he wont have too much fun without me!

I dont know if i would have kept myself alive & well if you havent came into my life;we both resuced each other.

i will do my best to do better for myself and get better, just for you baby
