Hello there, nice to meet you- I'm alright thanks!

It's been kind of a bad year for gardening- earlier in the year the sunflowers I was raising got dehydrated while I was away (I suppose the person I asked to water them must have forgotten), and they didn't make it. I tried again, but a wildfire choked the sky with smoke for about a week and made it colder than it should have been so they got leggy and stunted.

We had another really bad wildfire again in November that blocked out any sun and caused temperatures around here to get to freezing at night, and the plants I was growing didn't care for that.

Right now though I have several pots of daisies growing, some carrots, some spinach, a tomato plant, a spearmint plant, strawberries, several volunteer tree saplings (unidentified so far), and I have plans to expand with several winter vegetables like acorn squash, more varieties of carrots, more spinach, and some herbs like peppermint and parsley.

I'm actually looking to get into gardening professionally, getting a license to open up a nursery and see if I can't make that a seasonal, if not yearly source of income.

  2. I've been thinking about buying my first car, but have had 3 desperate instances with 3 different people(theyve been helping me out with rides.) where the car messed up. Its only been a week. I think the universe is telling me to wait.

Or maybe it's telling you to to cast off hesitation and move forward in your life- nobody can see the future, and it isn't our job to try and determine it. It's our job, as people, to do our best, make the progress we can, and try to find contentment in it!

If you can afford a car, and it's something you need, you should do it! Don't deny yourself the tools you need to continue your personal journey toward happiness and independence in life. You deserve both, and it's not bad to reach for them if you can!

I agree with the above- sharpen is very helpful when resizing images.

  4. So it'll be my daughter's first Halloween.

But I'm not sure what to dress her up as that follows the following :
    - Doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

    - Isn't something she could just pull off ( wigs / masks )
    - Available to purchase online or at my local stores.

    :llaaaa:
