question: is there any way to avoid paypal charging me crazy amount of fees every time someone sends me money?
can i ask my customers to send me their payments via “personal payment “ instead of “goods and services” or is it still prohibited?
i have a business account, would i get charged less fees if i change to a personal account?
i would really appreciate if anyone experienced in this could help me out, it’s making me really sad to lose 4 or 5usd out of every sale i make!! if there’s nothing i can do i will just simply accept it but i lose nothing by asking if there are alternatives i guess :(

By personal payments do you mean friends and family? If so, this is against Art Haven’s rules and may eventually get you in trouble. It might be worth it to up your prices and build the fee into the price — so if you wanna charge $65 for something, actually charge $70 to account for the money that’s being taken out. It’s super important that buyers have the protection that goods and services provides.
