How do you resize art?

Kikitchi

Question

It seems like a pretty big chunk of users here still want 160x220 crops of their art, but I've always struggled with that.  Right now I work on a 320x440 canvas and resize using procreate's built in canvas resizer, and I don't like the way it makes the quality go down.  Does anyone have a different technique?  Maybe you use a different app than what you use for your art, or you have a canvas you use that works for you?

Hi Kikitchi!

I would suggest using a different application to resize your canvases or opt for drawing on a larger canvas you're comfortable with and cropping a 160x220 version! I'm not quite sure how procreate resizes images, but there's also free applications that you can use to resize without losing much quality of your work. We also have many artists who may draw a half body or full body character and crop a headshot version for use on other sites such as IMVU with their 160x220 canvases.
