  1. You ever just wanna give up on Art one day ? Because you're tired of telling yourself that everyone progresses differently,

yet great Artists around you that started off exactly like you have progressed and improved so much better in less time ? It gets exhausting.

I’m sorry you are feeling this way, I know it is easier said then done but I think comparing yourself to anyone is  damaging to your own creativity. Sometimes it’s good to just take a break for a couple of days and try and just enjoy the process of creating without worrying so much about the outcomes and try and remember the reasons why you love drawing in the first place, but I think your art is very adorable so keep up the good work :blove:

@Alismora I can finally get back to you and I whole heartedly agree.

A lot of times and recently I’ve taken such a long break from Art. A lot of it has to do with my anxiety and depression, so taking that and piling it on top of the fact that I feel like I’m not improving creates a big impact on me as an Artist. I do spend a lot of time in between jumping out of my comfort zone but never finishing the pieces, as you have. And I also create a lot of art for myself and for my family and friends.

Clearly I have improved in some way, I just wish my improvement was a lot more drastic like some Artists I’ve seen in the course of several days or months. Sometimes I feel like the talent I think I have wasn’t meant to be. Like I wasn’t meant to draw.

I’m hoping now that all the stress inducing problems have gone away, I can have a better time on improving my Art. I’ve picked up a couple of personal projects to work on in between , which has helped me greatly. I think I’m going to be that Artist who needs a long break in between every couple of Art pieces to regain self control. If that makes sense lol. And I think that’s okay !

So thank you, and everyone for the inspirational words of courage. It has definitely helped.
