@Deth If your family makes you feel like you're burdening them with your anxiety/depression, than maybe they aren't the people you should be confiding in. If they're not being open and accepting you may just need to focus on your friends or extended family or strangers on the internet who know what you're going through. Don't feel like you owe anyone anything. You have the right to cut off toxic people. And you don't have to spend your time and energy trying to make it so people understand something they might not ever get. 

Sorry if I'm getting too preachy. Lol. I'm in your shoes and I just wanna be helpful. Haha.

As someone who struggles with anxiety every moment of every day, I completely understand. People will tell you to do this or do that to try and relax but sometimes all you can do is find a place to lay down, put in some earplugs, make sure the fan's blowing cool air, and curl up into a very tight, anxious burrito. No matter what people say to you, just remember that you're in control (even though it doesn't feel like it) and your anxiety is valid (you're not "overreacting" and blah blah blah) and you do whatever you think might help. If that's screaming at the top of your lungs or crying uncontrollably or rocking back and forth or sitting in silence or listening to German death metal so loud you feel like your ears are gonna burst, do you, girl. That's all you can do.
