      and @Kat @Jiggle i don't have much tips since i'm also a beginner myself;; but i use photoshop cs6 for animating! i use frame by frame animation because i can't seem to figure out how to do it in timeline animation;; im sure there are free programs alternative to photoshop that can do the same thing ^^ i make sure to use separate grouped layers for the animated parts too. so a LOT of layers.

       

      for the movement, i recommend looking at references; can be irl or other animations. and it's easier to take baby steps with studying it first. basic stuff like how a ball bounces, mouth movements, etc.

      @Momoi Makes sense ! Unfortunately I don't own photoshop and I don't like the idea of making monthly payments. :'( Your animations are so smooth and adorable. Great job on them !!

      @Kataww its okay,  theres other alternatives. idk if gimp or krita also have animation timelines but its worth a try!
