  1. Here's some of my thoughts after 1 year of making commission work:

    1. Weighing between demand and rates was pretty tough for me. Initially when I first open my commission shop, my rates was comparatively lower. I felt a level of dissatisfaction given that the time and effort that I've put in was not matching with the rates. Hence I made the decision to increase it.
By making the rates higher than other shops, I've received fewer orders but I am truly grateful to new and returning clients who've ordered commission from me regardless of the price changes.

    2. Working on commission left me with not much room to work on my own project or any other daily life related stuff.
Administrative stuff takes more time than I thought. My schedule has been packed revolving around commission orders throughout the year.
Doing the daily grind after my 8hr office job sometime takes a toll on me but from this experience I've managed to tweak certain things like slots allocation and deadlines.

Overall I would say the experience was interesting but the grind is real.🥴I might consider stopping commission next year 2022 and focus more on personal works 🤔... We'll see how it goes!

    Thanks for reading!
