    I’m supposed to be doing commissions last night  but i couldn’t i had to be alert because not only there’s ashfall we experienced earthquakes too. I’m actually lucky because i’m still in the “safe zone” but i’m still scared regardless. I also have friends who lives near the volcano and i can’t help but worry all night not only for them but for the people and animals as well

    Random question, but.. Do you artists prefer large sta.sh's, or small ones? 
    Or is there really no preference as long as you can get the job done? I usually provide a pretty large sta.sh, and I'm always wondering if it's bothersome. 

    Like, I guess an example of a 'large' one would include the characters main stuff (age, gender, eye color, ect), then their personality, a bit of an outfit description, and a few other things. And a small sta.sh would be a few sentences with age/gender/maybe a brief personality.

       i love reading character’s background! It’s really helps a lot. And yes i do make head canons with almost every oc commissioned to me. It makes drawing extra fun

      Hmm i guess it depends? Usually when then there’s drawn art / a ref sheet + a character’s background (story, personality etc.), then it’s a gold mine for me, with enough information i get to have various composition in mind. If there’s no drawn art, i do prefer smaller and direct to the point ones.

    i wonder what is the typical canvas size for big art? bc i used to work on a huge canvas (like 4000x4000) so the lines will look thinner but it just won't upload well here ><

      I also work at 4000x4000 probs even more until my laptop can’t handle it but i usually save downsized version for uploading to the web like setting the resolution from 300 dpi to 32 dpi
