Understanding the AH Chain of Command

There are multiple roles that are filled out by AH members that help maintain the website and uphold our values. To a new user, this might a bit confusing especially when there are so many with varying roles. If you are confused on what moderator to contact in case of an issue, please refer to this list for an in depth view of what each moderator does on AH.

    01

    Site Coordinator

    02

    Administrator

Site Coordinators are the owners and managers of AH. They maintain all aspects of the website and handle all issues internally with no outside sources.

While their titles are similar, their job functions vastly differ from moderator or administrator roles. Site Coordinators make sure everything is up and running smoothly and provide the services that are available to you on AH.  They control any new features, how the site looks and it is maintained, and manage the moderators.

Site Coordinators are NOT moderators and should NOT be contacted with an issue regardless of severity. If you disregard this message and send a PM anyways, it may be ignored.

Administrators are the highest ranking moderators and are responsible for a multitude of things.

These can include but are not limited to

    • Managing moderators
    • Responding to any issues that may concern a higher ranking moderator
    • Needing something translated in your native language ( a rule, warnings, etc)
    • Providing assistance in understanding warnings ( old & new )
    • Providing assistance with questions on potential reports ( if you're unsure if you should report something or not )
    • Providing clarification on rules

If you have an urgent or more severe serious issue, please feel free to contact an administrator.

While this moderator group is separated into different categories, many duties they perform are similar and coincide with each other. While all of these moderators help maintain the site and do their best to help you, they also have job specific tasks. If you need assistance in a specific area, be sure to message the correct moderator.
