    "Can we stop berating people for asking what brushes/programs other people use? I get its a funny joke but I hate when people preface a GOOD question with “sorry to ask this...” because it means there’s a negative culture around asking questions & people are actively scared of doing it, STOP IT.

      I can see where that can become an annoyance, where I do not find it cool, is on twitter for instance, people being snobby about minimal information such as brushes and programs, being condescending to novice artists. :/ I do see that instance youre talking about on twitch a lot though.

      I thought id brainstorm with a few people, sort of talk about weaknesses in art or something theyd really like to get better at, 

       

      For instance; 

      Textures, like hair, fur, metal, clothing; or studies for like 3/4 view faces, or color, or design challenges etc. Just to stretch your mind out and learn some stuff that can be useful in the arts.

    Do not complain and moan about artists doing personal art when we have a queue. personal art allows us to practice and experiment without the pressure of pleasing someone else and is absolutely necessary to do regularly. sticking to just queue work causes burnout & stagnation....

      I’ve heard that the 20’s are the hardest; you’re just going into adulthood, you’re learning what you want to do in life and you’re working on getting there. I’ve even heard it as being the “terrible twenties” lmao. My best advice—something I’m doing today—is to have fun and experiment with different things. Go outside your comfort zone and find out what you love and what makes you happy. Strive to become what you want to do in life, and it will happen. It’s a slow process (I’ve heard), but it’s always smart to enjoy the ride while you’re on it. I’m only 22 and I feel insane sometimes LOL. If you need advice or help or anything feel free to PM me. I’m not a genius but I love to help as much as I can. :cutehehehaaas:

      Its seriously a struggle. 

      I know realistically I should not have my life together over night, but comparing yourself to others (I spend too much time on instagram) can be destructive- 

      I guess I just needed someone to smack be back into reality and relax a bit. Its a constant war. But I know I need to chill lol.

    Lately nothing beyond sketching has been working for me, and its extremely discouraging. It warps my mind and puts me in such a low state of how much I need to improve.
