Hi.

I cannot believe my last post here was in January LOL. Here are some life updates because I know you are all INTERESTED (honestly idk how many active people here even remember me). Well I was finishing my art degree but sadly my show got cancelled so ): finishing school ended on sad fart notes. Which makes me really sad because university literally took me 10 years (on and off) to complete. At least I get my degree in the mail..... thanks.
 

I also during the start of this pandemic got diagnosed with carpal tunnel (over the phone LOL) so literally I have not been able to art in months but have all this time since my work is closed... It’s literally killing me inside. I am almost healed and I find that drawing now doesn’t hurt my hands as much so I have been doing a bit more ): 

I don’t know what the economy looks like on G... arthaven (it feels weird not typing GASR lol) or if people would even be interested. I am thinking maybe in a couple of weeks to offer like “quickie” portraits for like $10-$15 a pop. So like not too expensive b/c my goal is not really to make bank but just cause commissions sometimes are a good way to get structure when my life is really lacking. 
 

Would that be a good idea? Also how are you guys doing )):

SO for this picture I have been painting it so slowly like doing literally 1 stroke and being like OK THAT IS ENOUGH I DON'T WANT TO RUIN IT. SO tonight in a fury I just... Spent 1 hour being liek I WANT IT FINISHED IDC IF IT'S SHIT. Honestly, that's a very healthy art attitude to have. I AM SO PROUD? Is it perfect? No but I AM SO SATISFIED.

Did some for my OC Amelia~

I finished a custom painting (for my auction winner!) and because it took me a hot minute, I included a phone BG version.

I tested it on my own phone and it's so satisfying.

I’m high key happy that GASR doesn’t allow reselling of art (non adopts). I just thought that whole process was sketchy af to begin with and I know a lot of artists (like me) weren’t comfortable with their work being resold. I know in the art market in real life, artwork gets resold all the flipping time and things go up and down in value depending on if the artist is hot at the time (or if they are dead). Honestly, I don’t even like this practice in the real world art market because art then becomes this elitist trading object and undermines the artist and artwork completely. Turns into “I’m buying this painting as a shiny investment” rather than actually liking the thing. On GASR what bothered me was like the fact that it’s a digital file, like, you’re not even selling a physical thing. I know digital art is essentially selling a digital file but usually they are custom painted FOR YOU. That’s another thing that bothers me when people asked (which I greatly appreciated they asked) to sell a custom, it just kinda hurt me pride LOL. 

Anyways, because I am a gossip I also wish I knew what situation pushed it over the edge hahahahaha.

I haven’t painted anything in like 3 weeks and have started a brand new job. I’m /hoping/ that my art block will be over so I can get back to making customs. PRAY 4 ME.

I haven't been very active because I took a break because I was having a really bad artblock.

I'm slowlyyy dipping my toes in again after not doing anything for the past 5 days.

Well, I played / finished Life is Strange Before the Storm and all of the Dragon Age Inquisition DLC.

Character Sheet OCs Outfits. (see ex below):

HEART: I would be interested in buying this if you offered it.

THUMBS UP: I am not personally interested, but I think others might.

THUMBS DOWN: I don't think it's worth offering.

I was thinking of offering knee high (ish) reference paintings of OCs. Basically, I'd make a base of your OC (simple undies / no makeup) and then using that base I could create references of your OC's outfits (makeup, clothes, hair, etc). I'd charge like $25 for the base and then $10-15 per additional outfit. 

This is my OC Amelia... Literally all she wears is dresses and lingerie so LOL.

Would there actually be anyone who wanted this done?
