  1. My discord is going pretty good.  I love being able to socialize with friends, buyers, potential buyers.  I have a lot of things planned for the server over time.  I am looking to transition to mostly selling through discord and will probably not have any active shops here.  I may post premades in the premade section, but that will be about it.  I love the feeling of being able to talk to people and it is so much easier to do it there rather than sending pms back and forth here.  I am hoping that my followers will all follow me to discord, even new people, doesn't matter!  If you want to join my discord, comment here or shoot me a pm.  Lets make my server fun!

      I do understand the people using it for bumping, thats for sure.  And it's unfortunate that people use it for that purpose.  I only speak of spam in the sense of making 3 or more posts within a certain time period. I for one am bad at this, though I have gotten better.  I keep forgetting theres an edit button, so I will remember I needed to say something, then make a whole new post instead of editing the last one.

      As far as the chatting with customers/friends, I mean that more in the sense of being able to chat in real time, as opposed to PMing, the live chat system like discord offers the opportunity for quicker responses.  At least so far in my experience.  I like to just go back and forth chatting with people, not even about art related stuff, just chatting about everything or whatever pops in my head.  I am finding that with discord, I am getting a much better feedback system.  I will ask questions in my shop, but most of the time, a lot of people won't really reply to it, where as in discord, they are right on it with a response.  If that makes sense.

      As far as the spam rules, honestly, I wouldn't change that.  As much as a pain in the butt as it can be, it is there like that for good reason.  The fact that GASR is trying to be fair to every shop owner so we all have equal opportunity to be on the front page is really nice.  I really don't have any complaints about that rule at all.  I just know that I have fallen victim to the 3 post in a row thing.  Almost did it the other day but caught myself.

      The group thing though, that has perked my interest.  I like the idea of being able to make my own threads for whatever I want, I like the idea of having my own moderators. I think this would be a very fun thing to at least try out and see what people think about it.  I have been on Patreon, and I find it a bit hard to navigate at times, but the idea of it, is really nice.  The one thing with discord that I don't like as much as GASR is that I can't just make everything....fancy.  With a group, I would feel more like I am running my art business as opposed to feeling like someone else is doing it for me, if that makes sense.  Granted yes, all of GASR's rules and TOS would still apply, but it kind of gives you that bit of extra freedom and opportunity to make the group what you want.

      @Alismora  Hope this helps.

      I think the worry about spam part is more along the lines of this rule ;

      "Having an excessive amount of off-topic chatter in shops or other places where it is not appropriate" < considered spamming

      Idk could be just me, but this is the first thing that came to mind about socializing with customers and people in shops

      @Angel  Yes that rule too.  I like to just talk sometimes, not even about art related stuff.  And I know it's not right to do that in my shop.
