hello, I'm back. I know I didn't take a long hiatus and that's because I think I only needed like maybe a week or so. I've been having a hard time accepting something and it just really took a toll on me this past weekend. However, I went out with my family and I had the best time ever. I feel really good now and I now know how to control my feelings and take care of myself.
I will now be focusing on my art because I still think it needs a little work but I can see I'm improving which makes me really happy.

Hello everyone! I just wanted to give a little heads up about myself!
In the past two weeks I've been tremendously ill to the point I was taken to the hospital by ambulance on Tuesday, so I haven't done any university work, or personal work in that time.
I was working on a premade set for spring, but I do not think I will finish it this month without rushing it. Since spring is still not happening for me, I'll have plenty of time to work on the pieces I want.
Furthermost I started accepting some private commissions, to see how I can handle with commissions nowadays and what is a fair price for me / and the time I spend on my art. If all goes well I might end up taking a couple of public slots for commissions. I will give another heads up in case that is happening!
Lastly, today I been trying to sketch, but I sweat like crazy and get headaches when I spend long enough behind my PC. Regardless I got some sketches out of two chicks I might turn into DP's and a stylized sketch of my own OC. I'm trying to change things up a bit and differ from just semi realism, and I hope it'll look great once I render these pieces out!

ok so like can someone punch me in the face because i got pissed for nothing........my tablet is now back up working HAHAH im so sorry omg i can't even rn. i feel like such a fool and embarrassed because i guess it just needed to maybe cool down since i've been on it since early this morning

I would like to share with all my fellow gasrians that today I walked across stage and received my diploma. I could barely process all of it because it's unbelievable that I made it this far. Honestly, I didn't think I would of graduated because I've been through so much in the past years dealing with my depression and anxiety as well as getting bullied. I went through a dark road and it wasn't pretty but I made it! I am finally proud to say I actually accomplished something great. I'm the 3rd one to graduate in my family and it's amazing. I would like to thank everyone on here because you guys are amazing and you do anything!! Here's a picture of me with my diploma!!!

Honestly, I didn't think I would of graduated because I've been through so much in the past years dealing with my depression and anxiety as well as getting bullied. I went through a dark road and it wasn't pretty but I made it! I am finally proud to say I actually accomplished something great. I'm the 3rd one to graduate in my family and it's amazing. I would like to thank everyone on here because you guys are amazing and you do anything!! Here's a picture of me with my diploma!!!

i kinda wish i didn't get into digital art because omg it's literally so hard and frustrating........ the more i watch tuts or look at references, it still comes out looking weird asf like whyy couldn't i just be good like the rest of you guys
like i know it takes practice and patienice but i have no patience and i'm tired of practicining ... i dont even know what my art style is like i'm shooting for anime girls and chibis but ???? i cant even draw their anatomy right ;-; AHHHHH

@Pupper Yeah true!! I'm just one of those people who wishes things would come fast but in reality i know things don't work that way. I think everyone is like that though so but thank you so much, I know I will keep improving. Actually I see my art improving more and more each day so that's good.

omg chelly your right, i'm sorry ;-; that's just how i am. though the references and tutorials help sometimes but it takes time which i know. I think i'll just continue to experiment more and more and maybe in a few years ill become really good and confident with my art style lol

I have some wonderful news.
You know how everytime you want to put anything up for an auction, you have to get your application for that piece approved by us? It can be quite a time consuming process if you like to auction your artwork pretty frequently, so I'm reallyyyy excited to tell you that now you are able to have your own AUCTION SHOPP !!! Where you can save your time by only applying ONCE and not a bunch of different times!

✦ gentle reminder for when you feel demotivated ✦
- there’s nothing wrong with feeling demotivated, so please don’t punish yourself for that – everyone, even the most successful people in the world, can fall into a slump
- you can do it
- i believe in you
- it’s not going to be as bad as you think
- don’t place too high expectations on yourself, especially when you’re feeling low
- set small and specific goals – little steps are always important
- print out or write down what you need to do and put that note where you know you’re going to see it
- set yourself a specific time for when you’re going to start working on something, but don’t put too much pressure on yourself if you’re unable to
- see what others are doing and achieving, and use that as motivation instead of comparing yourself to them and putting yourself down
- call for help from others to cheer you on when you can’t do it on your own
- counter your negative thoughts with positive ones
- think about the benefits of doing the task, instead of the difficulties it will take to get there
- take deep breaths and take a step back when things become too overwhelming or the stress takes over
- take breaks, don’t overload yourself
- if you think that your schedule is becoming more and more of the same thing every single day, that can heavily impact your motivation - so try your best to try something new, or even just do something that you would usually do in a different way, or with a different outlook; it doesn’t matter if the change you make is big or small, because every attempt goes towards progress
- when you’ve completed what you needed to, or even just worked at it a little bit, make sure to congratulate yourself, because you’re trying and i’m so proud of you for that
- try your best, because your best is good enough
