Try typing "Wacom preferences" in your start bar, or whatever your tablet is called and click on the settings. There should be an option somewhere where you can select which monitor you want to use the tablet on. The tablet has to be plugged up in order for you to change these settings.

@Momoi Makes sense ! Unfortunately I don't own photoshop and I don't like the idea of making monthly payments. :'( Your animations are so smooth and adorable. Great job on them !! 

@Mushuk I actually didn't know that ! I absolutely hate photoshop, I just don't like the set up, I feel like there's just too much to take in. I'm used to simpler layouts like Sai, where everything is simple and clean. I phrase people who can draw on photoshop and on top of it animate. But I don't feel like paying a monthly fee for photoshop now so RIP animations. 

@Baah Yeah, I used to animate with GIMP but it's horrid. It crashes and lags, I've always had problems with it. I'm definitely giving Krita a shot and I suggest you do also ! :) 

@Alismora I can finally get back to you and I whole heartedly agree. 

A lot of times and recently I’ve taken such a long break from Art. A lot of it has to do with my anxiety and depression, so taking that and piling it on top of the fact that I feel like I’m not improving creates a big impact on me as an Artist. I do spend a lot of time in between jumping out of my comfort zone but never finishing the pieces, as you have. And I also create a lot of art for myself and for my family and friends. 

Clearly I have improved in some way, I just wish my improvement was a lot more drastic like some Artists I’ve seen in the course of several days or months. Sometimes I feel like the talent I think I have wasn’t meant to be. Like I wasn’t meant to draw. 

I’m hoping now that all the stress inducing problems have gone away, I can have a better time on improving my Art. I’ve picked up a couple of personal projects to work on in between , which has helped me greatly. I think I’m going to be that Artist who needs a long break in between every couple of Art pieces to regain self control. If that makes sense lol. And I think that’s okay ! 

So thank you, and everyone for the inspirational words of courage. It has definitely helped.

@Chilly I didn't know that was a thing ! Yes I am using photoshop, and I saw "Video timeline" but I thought that was strictly for videos, so how can you save them as GIF files then ? I have been animating frame by frame, and when it gets to a certain point I add the hand movement.  . . . So literally I was doing layer by layer and the time had to be the same or else it would mess with another animation. I will definitely have to try this because it seems so much easier lol !!

@Amy I'm using that but when I have multiple animations they clash because of the speed difference. :( 

@Alismora I'm a little confused ? When I animated I typically add the animation above all my layers and apply them to each over time. Maybe I myself am making it more complicated than it should be ?? Like for the eye twinkle I add it to each individual layer and it's set to a slower animation speed. But when it's still twinkling on an animation that is supposed to be faster ( for instance a hand waving ) it's causing the hand to be super slow just to keep that consistent twinkling speed I want. 

@Alismora I've tried that but it adds soooo many additional layers. I don't know I guess it confuses me after a while.

I used to play Guild Wars 2 a lot, I loved the jump puzzles and there's always a large community. It kind of settles down once you get to the higher levels though since there's just a shit ton of people constantly creating new characters to try out new classes. I've yet to reach max level yet to see how it is , but apparently a lot more people play now , my friend is maxed and does raids and such with a group of max leveled players. Even if you're max level I was told constantly by the community " Ha getting to lvl 80 was literally just teaching you HOW to play the game. After level 80 the real game begins. " So perhaps try this out ? ? ? ? 

I wish Dream of Mirror was popular again, after suba games dropped it / it died off and now some people don't even know steam brought it back out. It might look plain ( the characters mostly ) but the graphics are beautiful, and the gameplay is like any other. You can become one job, then work your way towards to becoming two jobs and it's just pretty awesome with an amazing story.

And it feels so refreshing to take a break from Art and come back. The feeling is like taking that first sip of an ice cold drink of water after taking a long jog out on a summer day.
