Is this what the cool kids are doing these days? Redesigning Sonic? I actually had a lot of fun with this piece, even though I feel like my eyes are about to fall out of my head, lol. The original game was actually a big part of my childhood- I had one of the old SEGA consoles and I played Sonic a lot as a kid, so in a lot of ways this felt like revisiting those hours I spent cutting my teeth on the frontier of videogames, lol. As far as design elements go, the original Sonic shares a lot of aesthetic qualities with the modern Vaporwave art movement (and probably pulled its weight in helping define the genre), so I decided to take some notes and lean into that.

I love the halo and the reflection on the chains! The dust in the shaft of light is also really lovely. Maybe you could title it some variation of "enlightenment"? "Illumináre"? -

This is absolutely gorgeous. The details are stunning, the background is beautiful and the lighting really brings it all together. I love the armour design especially, it's very elegant, but also appears functional, particularly for a character who needs to retain their mobility. -
