that would work. the pumpkin patch idea sounded good too.maybe if you still had your heart set on the pumpkin patch thing it could be kinda like a distant scenery, not sure if i explained that right lol

I understand how tough this can be, I found myself in a toxic relationship as well a few years back and it's mentally tiring. I'm sure that people won't be mad and will understand your situation, I hope all is well and things look up

@Ivyx Skin always just confuses me. I do things differently. I go from light to dark, as where some people go from dark to light.

I'm not good with mixing tones ,so I kind of just wing it. I've looked at sooo many tutorials. But I definitely would go ahead and make one

I'm sure a lot of people would be interested. c: 

@Amy glad u think so bb, I still remember one of the first times I posted to crit when you said you were a big fan of my art, will never forget that 

@Princess yeah I have been winging it/using trial & error as well, I find it easiest nowadays to block in a flat color somewhere between the lightest and darkest tone you wanna use, then blocking in darks and blending at around 10% opacity as you add each color. thanks for the encouragement, I probably will eventually c:

i struggle w this too, personally i just watch some nice speedpaints and they tend to motivate me, but i'm not sure if that'd work for you as well. Still hope you'll feel like drawing more though! 

@Ayumi thank youu, it also has to do with life stuff. sadly my emotions are tied to my desire to draw but I think maybe I could get out of that by venting through art? that is a good idea though re: watching speedpaints, I'll try that :3 I also love looking at pretty art in general to motivate me to draw
