Hi! I'm not exactly new to GASR but ngl I made an account on the old site a while back, had no idea what I was doing, and then forgot about it for a year or more lol.

Anyways, greetings! My name is Nicole, but online I prefer to go by Niki. Well- not just online, I go by it in real life too but when introducing myself in person it's a lot easier to just say 'my name is nicole', I'm weird, I know. I'm a little shy and not good at being the first person to talk in a conversation, but once I know you well enough I get much less awkward hahah. 

Anyways, I'm 20 years old, born and raised in Alberta, Canada, never left the province or country lol. I'm currently going to college/university for a BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts), and am in my 3rd term of my first year (What happens when you start in Winter lol) Living on residency bc my college is a 1h30m drive from my hometown and I don't drive. Currently hating that I have to move out to a different college residency (which is 30 minutes from here and in an entirely different city) for 2-3 weeks for some stupid games happening. Anyways, I love art, if you can't already tell by me mentioning I'm taking art for post-secondary. I've been drawing since I was around 12/13, so like in 2011. I also write and have (also) been writing since I was 12. I mainly write crappy fanfics for animes/kpop ships that I know don't actually exist, because I'm not creative enough lol, but I have been slowly working on a story revolving around Greek goddesses. If you're interested in hearing stuff about that, I'd love to talk about it! My other interests include reading, listening to k-pop (hmu if you wanna fangirl over Seventeen), watching (mainly older) anime, as well as watching k/j dramas, and being lazy. I'm also amazing at procrastinating, and am currently doing it for a drawing assignment due on Monday : ) I'm O B S E S S E D with Stranger Things and have watched season 1 at least 5 times. I can't wait for season 3. Other obsessions lately have been Cardcaptor Sakura, Seventeen (the kpop group), Riverdale, and of course, tea will always be an obsession of mine, I have way too much tea (there's never too much tea).

I joined IMVU for a friend a while ago (probably 2016-17) and rarely go on it but I might as well advertise the name anyways: WiIIow_Echo. the L's are actually capital i's because the original name was taken or something and at the time I was too lazy to think of another cool name lol. I don't even know where Willow Echo came from it just sounded cool.

I'm a video gamer, I love Pokémon, dark souls, deadspace, maplestory, the sims, Animal Crossing, Mario Series, Kingdom Hearts, Resident evil, ect. I am an artist trying to get my foot in the door and to improve on my art style! I love anything from Lacey and frills to leather and chills! 'm a 19 year old mostly self-taught artist in my third year of college, studying how to make video games.

lowkey forced my boyfriend (we've been together for five-ish months now?) to get on imvu purely so we can get fake married and i can get the name change token and other perks

it's prolly pretty safe to say that imvu got me into *seriously* doing digital art? i mean, i always loved to draw, but i didn't get my first graphics tablet until i decided i wanted to attempt to get the monies via doing dps zzzzzz

I'm a 21 year old artist from Ontario Canada!! I was actually raised in North Carolina, but then I met my (now) husband on Tera online about 8 years ago, and moved to Canada to be with him!! Immigrating was really difficult but I just recently became a full permanent resident, and I'm super proud of that :D 
When I first moved to Canada, I attended Culinary school!! I do love to cook, but i realized that it wasnt my passion.. my whole life everyone told me that I shouldnt be an artist, but deep down, art was always my passion! so I gave up Culinary school after 1 year, and became a full time artist!

I work as a freelance artist in the video game industry, so I have some professional experience.
I have done concept art, pixel art, some UI work and a lot of 2D animations, both frame-by-frame and tween.

 

As you might have guessed I have a big interest in art and video games. I have also studied philosophy and literature, I love trees and I drink lots of tea.
I am also a judgemental smart ass and generally not a very nice person, but I'm trying! 

I am on GASR mainly because my financial situation is rough and I hope to generate some extra income on the side, as well as to take an opportunity to grow and evolve my art.
